Shipping information We do our best to get your items to you as soon as possible! We usually ship within 3 - 5 days once an order is placed, excluding weekends and holidays. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to the following shipping terms and conditions:
Domestic Orders:
Shipping Method: We use USPS First Class or Priority Mail, (depending on size) as our standard shipping method for all domestic orders within the continental U.S.A.
Shipping Charge: We have real time integrated shipping charges with USPS and UPS. This means you pay the estimated
shipping charges that the mail carrier will actually charge on your
orders. Please note that due to variations on the size, shape and the
weight of the packaging that ends up being used in the shipping
process, the actual shipping charges might differ from what the
customer was charged during checkout despite our best efforts. When the
actual shipping charges are more than the amount originally paid by the
customer, Safa House will cover the difference and considers it a gift
to our customers. In cases where the amount the customer was charged
exceeds the actual final shipping costs, Safa House has no obligation
to refund any of the shipping charges back to the customer - however,
when the difference is significant and at its sole discretion, Safa
House might choose to refund money directly to the customer's credit
card, issue a discount coupon or store credit.
Shipping Time: Once we send out your order it takes anywhere from 2- 7 days (on average 3 days) for an order to arrive, depending on the exact location the goods are being shipped to.
Expedited Service: If you would like to receive your merchandise more urgently, we offer USPS Express Mail service (overnight to most areas). Please choose this method at the time of check out if you prefer express service. We prioritize shipping out express orders first, as we know you want them soon!
WAIVER OF LOSS OR DAMAGE:
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PACKAGES! IN THE RARE AND UNFORTUNATE EVENT THAT YOUR PACKAGE GETS LOST OR DAMAGED DURING DELIVERY, SAFA HOUSE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY COMPENSATION OR REPLACEMENT. We do our utmost to ensure that your package will arrive safely and on time by securely packing your items, clearly showing the shipping address, and handing it to the carrier. Any loss or damage after this point is beyond our control and you, the buyer, agree to hold Safa House harmless for any such unfortunate event.
International Orders:
We ship internationally to Canada, and to a number of other countries, mostly in Europe (you can click Country List to see if your country is included). We do not charge any customs dues or fees when we ship your order. Specifics depend on the particular country and government policies. It is the customers' responsibility to pay the customs dues, if any (small packages usually do not face customs issues, as they are for personal and not commercial purposes, however it is best to be informed beforehand).
We ship to Canada via USPS First Class Mail International or Priority Mail International, depending on package size. The shipping method is real time integrated, which means you pay the actual shipping costs charged by USPS. Delivery times vary depending on exact destination and are similar to domestic ones ( 2 - 9 days).
For all other international shipments, we also use USPS. Shipping charges vary by weight and destination. You will be able to view and approve the final charges before submitting your order at checkout. Delivery times vary depending on exact destination and can take anywhere from 7 - 21 days.
We offer expedited service on international orders only to Canada and Europe via USPS Express Mail International. If you would like your package to arrive as soon as possible, please choose this option at checkout. Delivery times will depend on destination but will be much faster than with standard shipping internationally.
